Is it possible to upload Historical data in SAP ByD?

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if SAP offers any tool that helps with the migration of historical data in the system. We are planning to include a new company in our tenant in June and it would be really helpful if we are able to upload in detail the current year's data (Jan-May 2020), otherwise, it will be very tedious to compare the current year data in different months and the option of manually upload all the customer/supplier invoices and financial transactions from Jan to May is not viable.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi Alex,

I recently loaded 10 years of financial historical data using journal entry type 079. I have the process documented into a PPT, it is dated of 2012 but it still works perfectly. If you give me your email address it'll be a pleasure to share it with you ! I can't share it on this platform.

In my perspective it works better than creating a cloud data source, but the decision remains with you.
