Is it possible to convert csv files to data-binary format in SAP CPI?

the requirement is that, a sales order csv file needs to be fetched from a source system and needs to be converted into data binary format in CPI which in turn needs to be sent to SAP Emarsys through API (being used in CPI), so is this type of data conversion possible in SAP CPI? if yes then how?
