Question about RHEl support with SAP Data Services 4.3

In the SAP Data Services 4.3 PAM it says RHEL 9.2 is first supported on SAP Data Services 4.3 SP03, however can we upgrade our current Data Services 4.2 system running on RHEL 8.8 to 4.3 SP03 without upgrading operating system to RHEL 9.2? We would like to stay on RHEL 8.8 for the time being.

Dear Customer,

I think there is a misunderstanding in reading the SAP Data Services 4.3 Product Availability Matrix (PAM). 

On page 8, it says RHEL 9.2 is supported from SAP Data Services 4.3 SP03.This means that if you want to be on Operating system RHEL 9.2 then you should be on atleast DS 4.3 SP03.

Your case is the opposite from above statement.

You want to be on DS 4.3 SP03 with RHEL 8.8 version. 

According to PAM, the RHEL 8.8 version is supported with Data Services 4.3 SP2 Patch 4 and above. That means all the data services versions above 4.3 SP2 Patch 4 supported RHEL 8.8 version.

So, your requirement, RHEL 8.8 and DS 4.3 SP03 are compatible.
