 EX: user created a some materials with reference to other material in MM01 ,now want to know source mat?

want to know the source data like from which material ,plant, storage location

One workaround would be go to MM01 and against the field "Copy from", place your mouse and use space bar so that, it will list out the latest material codes used.  Of course, multiple material codes would be listed out in MM01 and "Copy from" field is used in all the cases.

Hello @nalini1 

To my knowledge such information is stored neither in material master nor in change documents.

If it were, it is usability would be very limited as a user can change all the data copied from a reference material in MM01.
