Project Budget control in balance sheet account for asset acquisitions.

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement that my client want to budget against their balance sheet account/Assets in S4 Public Cloud, is their any workaround for this.

we have tried to load the budget for the balance sheet account, however only plan data is loaded and getting the below warning, and not controlling the WBS budget even it cross the loaded budget.

Budget values can only be applied against P&L accounts.  Project costs first post to a P&L account against the project then during settlement they are posted to the Balance Sheet account.  The budget has already been controlled on the first posting.

Thanks for the input, we have maintaining the budget with P/L account for that system checking the budget availability.

we also posted some expenses to WBS and settled the WBS to AUC, however while settling cost from AUC to Main Asset we are getting the below error.

Please suggest what need to be done to fix this.

The Line Item Settlement option is specified in the definition of the asset class, check there.

Hi Ken_Melching

we have selected the line item Settlement option in the asset class, even though system not picking line items posted to the AUC.

We tested the same scenario in other cloud client as well, however getting the same error in all client.

Please find the below screen print for your reference and advise the fix.
