Connecting Multiple Primaries to each other

Hello, I am reaching out to ask about the capability mentioned to connect multiple primaries to each other.  I believe a functionality was created to allow a single user in the portal to see multiple sets of data and I thought that may be an option.

Our objective is to find a way to create a connection / parent relationship or some way to identify mergers and acquisitions as the same company even if they have unique brokerID's and different names.    can you please let us know if there is a way to solve for that?

I figure we could potential relate Agency B,C,and D to A through some sort of connection.   We are open to suggestions though.

Hi Jim,

This a common scenario in our business.  We use a dated Cross Reference to link the original agency to the new Parent Agency as shown below where SafeCare is the new parent agency. PhillipButts_0-1714655652486.png

Additionally, every agent that points to the previous agency's Payee record should now be pointed to SafeCare. This relationship will direct all business after the merger to the new Parent Agency.

For transactions that are reprocessed or are dated prior to the merger date, a Global Transaction default will be used to override the normal Vendor assignment and pull teh new vendor from Merged Agency Cross reference that was created. There are a few other "nuances" that need to be addressed, but these 2 changes will address 95% of the scenarios and route payment to the new agency.

Let me know if more info is needed.

Thank you!
