Performance Management for Short-Term Staff

Hello,

Our internships are an 8-month term with the possibility of extending to a second term. Currently, managers fill out a performance review form three times a year for any co-ops that are here at that time, so some will have two reviews if they are here for the standard eight months and some will have three if they are extended. We are trying to determine the best way to set up SuccessFactors to do performance management for this group of employees.

We use the standard goals and performance management modules (i.e. not continuous performance management) for full-time, permanent staff. Could we have both continuous performance management and the standard goals/performance management options turned on at the same time?

Also, curious to hear how other companies have handled performance management of short-term staff. Do you have any other recommendations/ideas for us to try for this unique population?

Could we have both continuous performance management and the standard goals/performance management options turned on at the same time? >> Yes this can work together ,you can use cpm for regular feedback on goals using activities completion as criteria.
