What is the purpose of the Lesson Types in the Course Assignments screen?

I've created some course assignments on specific objects to specific groups of users, but I only want the Demo, Practice and Test modes visible. But even after deactivating those modes in the Course Assignment, they still show up. Is this what they are intended to do?

Hi,

If you specify specific Simulation modes in an Assignment, only those modes are shown in the Learners View for the corresponding users.  In the image below, I created an Assignment that shows only Books and Demo Mode Simulations.

 If you open an actual Simulation, by clicking on a Simulation object, not the Demo Mode object, the Simulation view is shown and the user can access the other modes of the Simulation.  However, the Assignment only shows direct access and reporting of the Demo Mode Simulation to the user.

Ahh, got it...thanks. However, I cannot get my recordings to show a branch view with the different playback modes as you have. My only option is to click on the actual course which displays the modes as always...
