Successfactors story report maximum date

Hi Experts,

I have a story report which is returning multiple rows in my query.  But I need to show only one record in my story table which I am doing it as a cross tab table.  I need to find the maximum date(let's say the maximum date of effective start date for example) and show it in the report. How do I accomplish this? All the different calculated fields in the story are allowing the MAX function only for dimensions(numbers) and not date fields. 

Can you please let me know if you figured out a way to get the maximum date from multiple rows?
