I am executing a mat to mat movt type 309 for a batch managed material where the batch characteristics values are not getting copied over to the new batch.
How can this be enabled? Pls share any solution approaches. Thanks.
I have already made the required settings for movement type 309 by selecting 4 in batch classification and copy chars as Characteristics from classification (priority) and configuration
Have you checked the settings under “Activate Batch Classification for Goods Movements in IM” – OMCV, whether the batch classification is maintained for the movement type 309?. If not you can set the classification option to 4 in a test system and recheck. You can research more on other options available.
