Hy all,

is it possibile tu use SAP Cloud Identity Services - Identity Authentication with sap ecc?Our customer has a ecc system that use as fiori gateway for a S/4 hana system.

It's possibile to implement 2fa with SAP Cloud Identity Services - Identity Authentication and Delegate Authentication to a a 3rd party or on-premise IdP(entra ID in thsi case) for fiori in this situation?

Hi @Jacopo_Carrara 

Yes it's possible. You can create trust configuration between ECC (tcode - saml2) and IAS by exchanging metadata files. All the access which runs through browser to ECC system will go through IAS after configuration is completed.

You can change the configuration in IAS ->Applications -> conditional authentication to your corporate IDP to act as proxy to your 3rd party AD.

You can use Risk based authentication to enable 2 factor authentication for users.
